Flint and Steel More Uses.

This doesn't affect me, because I haven't played in a while, but I was thinking... FnS that you craft, should last longer then FnS that you find in chests. It makes more sense and actually gives you a use for wasting your arrow material. What do you think?

Flint and steel is fine as it is, its a really strong tool and the charges it has is good enough, any more charges and that would be silly.

Yes, I did read the thread. Doesnt matter crafted or non crafted it should not get more charges.

The thing is, I myself and probably others craft TONS of flint and steels. I occasionally will even pass up making an iron sword to use the iron for a flint and steel. It would be OP if someone had 3 or 4 flint and steels with several more uses than normal. Good idea overall, but it just wouldn't work because of us pyros out there.

I would say a good amount of uses will be 6 or 7, nothing crazy, but if you risk not making an iron sword, you should get more uses then 4 :/

Ohhhh.... I thought you were thinking more along the lines of how many uses you get in vanilla minecraft.
6 or 7 would be more fair.

To balance the amount of uses flint and steel has, why not turn a weak form of fire spread on? More uses, but it wouldn't be infinite until it was put out like it is currently

No. F&S is good as it is. Any more uses and it will be overpowered.
