This system does not rule out maps due to votes , it just rules out poorly built maps. Remember MCSG is the original , most popular survival games network and the maps should be of high standard. I hate to admit it but the hive have nailed it in terms of map quality

I'm talking about the maps that are in MCSG that when they get included in the voting line, they get few to none votes.

I agree that it needs to be more organized, but I dont like the idea of a judging panel...

I definitely want a bit more quality control. Some maps I feel are just not really up to standards.

The reason we have had all the new maps is due to the fact that most were made by Team Elite. With Team vareide leaving we had to put on someone to help compete with that of the other survival games servers. We are adding new maps mostly for that of the reason as you said competing with the hive but they are also added because the Admins and mods enjoy playing them. I do agree with your idea with the panel and think it will add a lot better quality of maps to the server but with this we have a possibility of playing many of the same maps over and over as there will be less choice in the choosing option.

In response to everyone who says they're putting more maps in just to compete with Hive: You can't compete with an inferior product.

Quality of maps does need to be improved and maps especially those made my TE should be made with great care and attention to detail otherwise they simply shouldn't be on the server.
