Title explains it. We could have 5 lobbies, call them (eu/as/au/us/ca.mcsg.in) and have signs leading to the different servers. It's hard to list all the servers. MCSG expanded during my departure for a month, and I'm happy for that but it's harder to list all the servers.
It'll be more convenient.

Well for one Hive does it and we don't want to make them think we're "stealing" or anything. Second, I find the list mush easier. I can hardly get onto Hive signs, because this updates faster and is a bit more descriptive.

They, to my knowledge, were not the first to do this...at all. There are a large number of other servers who use similar, or even the same, plugin. (Anyone heard of shotbow? :p) At this point, doing it wouldn't be copying anybody, since too many people do it.

The signs can be frustrating at times, because they can sometimes be even buggier than just the default Minecraft login. Even if they were added, it'd (likely) still be entirely possible to connect to the server through their IP, so that wouldn't change. The major thing that would change is the difficulty for getting into servers for those who, in the past, were "good" at it. The sign method makes everyone have a chance, but the current method gives those who are dedicated and willing to find a good method get in almost every time. A hub would also benefit the donors from keeping all the IPs around/checking the server list, and just being generally convenient.

In my personal opinion, a hub right now is not needed. The current system with connection through IPs works fine for the right people, and a hub would take lots of extra work/coding/maintenance that we don't need right now, there are other more important things to worry about than a hub...especially 5 hubs. >.>

Don't like the signs to be honest, with so many people crowding around it is much harder to click them. Individual servers are where it's at! :p

Terrible idea, I gotta say. Think of the amount ofmtime you would have to spend in front of some colorful signs, waiting for a game to end, and then a bunch of donators kick you out when you manage to get in.

The current system is working fine.

I have to disagree on this suggestion. Different continents with different IP's for each one is much better and easier in my opinion. Sometimes the signs don't quite show the accurate amount of people in one server. The way the servers are now is much better.
