Bad Idea bcuz then the non donors have a little advantage because often good players have donor so mainly noobs will play there.
I agree with him. Without donors games would be horrible. (either too long because people don't know the map because they are new, or with huge teams because they want "a better chance of winning")

That's a little non donor biased, they are not that bad...

meh I just think they should raise the price for donor to 50-100$ a month minimum, less people will get it, problem solved.

But that's less money to run the servers, meaning less servers, making it harder to get on.

I'm sure people will buy 50 buck/month donors, its like less then 2 bucks a day, and how much time do ppl spend to join in? easier to find a job, get paid and not waste time on joining

Still, I think the $10 price point is WAY easier for people to meet. Donations will definitely go down, not everyone can get a job and I know my parents won't give me extra money so I can play on the computer.

No offense, but i don't really like the idea. Obviously people would not be willing to dish out $50 a month, otherwise we would be seeing lobbies full of diamond donors.

I was already getting my rage ready.... But I dont like the idea, because I like killing new player newbs :D I dont think it needs any changing. My only suggestion is to add a payment gateway like paysafecard because a lot of the players dont have paypal and have to ask someone else to do it.

For all of you who think this is a new idea, browse the forums more often. This has been suggested too many times before already and turned down. I don't like the idea personally (and yes, I would constantly say this even before I was donor) because that sort of limits the donors' ability to a few less servers. And some donors prefer to join the later servers. I know many people that always join the later servers because they aren't filled with donors, and this would limit their ability. Especially for the AU and CA servers, where there aren't that many servers in the first place.

I also believe that the only region with too many donors is the US. I used to play EU as my main region, and when I did I would easily be able to join a server no matter what number it was, except on the weekends when there were plenty more people playing. I have also played quite a bit of AU and CA, and, especially in CA, there are very few donors.

Another problem is that these servers that are set aside will be equally difficult to join even though there are no donors. The non-donors take up the bigger part of the community, and since they know of these servers where they can't get kicked, they will all be trying to join that server. So there will always be a ton more people trying to join these kick free servers in numbers way bigger than there are on any server, making it more difficult for anyone to join. I think this is the biggest problem, and few people seem to notice it.

I understand the advantages this would bring, and if there are servers like this I wouldn't be against it, but I don't think there is any need to add them in.
I also agree with Gamer101Luke in saying that donors should be able to join these servers if they exist, just they would have to join like regular players without their kick ability. And staff would still get kick access to join the server, because they are staff and they need it to moderate the servers.

Sorry if someone has already said this, I only read the first few comments and skimmed a few others, but didn't read them all.

In reply to pr0ofun suggesting that donors cost $50-100:
This would be way to expensive. There are very few diamond donors right now (maybe 50-100 of them in total), and those are the people that love these servers a lot, are rich and feel like having cool cyan names, or in the cases of maxlupus and Hawk62, they won it in a competition. If the price for the cheapest donor was $50, there would be few more than 50-100. Not very many people have that kind of money to spend on a game, and not very many people are willing to do it just for easy access to MCSG servers for a month.

And a message to the OP:
Please don't make polls with only one answer, because there are times when your idea isn't perfect. You can add up to like 10 options in a poll, so just add 3 or something saying: Yes, Maybe with some work, and No.

Heh... when CA first came out, it was full of all donor teams and such, most of the time the lobbies had at least 5 donors, sometimes there were 15. Crazy amounts back then. At least now this is changing, because some people don't get very good connection to Quebec.

A while ago, when the US had less than the 40 servers it has now, this idea would've been complete nonsense. Now, though, with the huge amount of servers donors can choose from, it would hardly limit their ability at all, as the server pool would still be around 30 servers. There is no way that they couldn't find a spot (unless there is a server shutdown), and there will still be later servers which many donors won't play on, as most donors play on easy to reach ones, such as US1 and US10 out of laziness.

Though there isn't direct need for these servers right now, it would alleviate some rage of being kicked, as they wouldn't have anyone to blame for their hardships of not being able to play. Believe me, I've been kicked quite a bit. Now I only play on CA, because the amount of donors on there looking for a 'fresh start' has died down due to the regional wins integrating into an overall number of wins, as well as the scramble to top the CA leaderboards has been also almost wiped out.

I doubt anyone said it as thoroughly as you did, HalfSquirrel

And pro0fun, $50 is an insane amount of money for people like me, who do not have a job and still need to buy things I want with my own money. I'm going to buy donor soon, I think, but $50 would be an unreachable price on my allowance and spare cash I make, if I ever wanted to buy anything else. If anything lowering the price would be more logical, as if it were $5, I would've bought donor many times over. Not saying that we need to change the prices.
