Map Specific Servers

I was in a lobby talking with a couple of other players and we were all really annoyed at how people vote for either Breeze Island or SG4 right away. We never get to play the other maps that we like. Even if we vote for it, most people will just start saying "skip these maps suck" and everyone listens to them for some reason. I think there should be a certain number of servers that only play certain maps like Breeze, so the people that like those maps can play them as much as they want, and other people get to play their favorite maps that never get voted on.

I don't think this is a good idea (even if I've suggested it before a long long time ago). The community waited a long time to get voting in, and if a couple servers didn't have it they wouldn't want to join those servers just to play maps they don't like. Breeze and SG4 are overplayed because they are the most liked maps in the community, so they should be played if more people like them. That is the whole point of the voting system.

Breeze and Sg4 could still be options to vote for on all the servers, but if there are also servers designed specifically for those maps, then this could possibly give other maps more opportunities to get played. So bring over a bunch of friends (or mods + donors) and tell them to vote for the same map as you.

I for one like the idea of map specific servers. Impracticle, but a good idea. Would give me a chance at playing some of the other maps!

Then it would be back like it used to. All the members had to go through a lot of wait when they were just random to the point where it finally got to voting.

Plus if there were map specific servers, what if only 11 people who liked that map were on the server at the time, It'd be no fun because you wouldn't get as many people to play with. I think it is also crazy how so many people just vote for SG4 and Breeze, but that's simply because they like those maps. I don't like this Idea because if there aren't enough servers for the people who like the maps, then they'll be forced to play games they don't like.

This would be a huge waste of money. The servers running the maps which people don't particularly favour, not naming any, would be empty and all of the other servers running Breeze and SG4 would be crowded.

It's not that they aren't good, it's just that when you play them all the time, you just lose interest in them.
But the problem is that some people don't. Some want all games to last 10 minutes, some hate the massive maps with all the lag, and some just think about winning and loosing. And some doesn't want to make new chest routes.

We need a new voting system. No doubt about that. If it goes on like this, people, - like me, will start to loose interest in MCSG, and they will quit. I love Survival Games 3. I love Survival Games 5. But how can I play them when everyone goes "Skipppp" when it pops up in the voting selection? I can't. That's the problem. It's not that I "never" play them, it's more like I rarely get to play them, because of most of the people in the community always votes for SG4 or Breeze.

People is slowly loosing interest. Someone got to do something about the voting system once and for all, so the MCSG community just falls apart.

Maybe if the map was played in the previous game on that server, it can't be voted for this round.
