Delete the SearchMe extension, it's a browser hijacker. If that doesn't work maybe try uninstalling Chrome and then re installing it?

The only 2 extensions I have are Adblocker and Google spots. None more are needed for me. I can't say for you.

AdBlocker cannot hurt you. You should get that. Google spots is cool, but not needed.

If you installed something recently using an installer, you may have downloaded some adware. Usually it makes a desktop icon, so try to search your desktop for software that you've never meant to install and delete it. I ran into the same problem a couple of months ago, but can't remember what I did. Try that, it usually works for me when I have problems with my browser.
