Hey everyone, I was just wondering, since on the forums it shows your donor rank/staff rank (and I assume most people buy donor for the server perks and not for the forum perks, but I may be wrong) should active members be recognized on the actual server?

What I had in mind was that active members would have an italicized name so for example:

Yomamma157 has joined the lobby
Swagdragon42 has joined the lobby

They would get normal text also:

Yomamma157: wow, swagdragon, swag name
Swagdragon42: Yeah, I know.

Donors/staff would have their colored name as well as italics, but when they disguise, it removes it so wouldn't stand out.

Also when you check a players stats, it would show whether or not they are active.

My only doubts would that it may be too time consuming for devs to work on this, and I am just saying that this would be cool, and this isn't a top priority like fixing bugs and anti-cheat is, but it may add to more people being active on the forums, along with active members feeling the respect they deserve.

I see no point in this, plus, we already have hundreds of active members who did nothing but spam and beg for likes to get their rank, why would we award them with an italicized name?

Totally agree with the Forumers above. Once you get Active Member I do not think you should get an italicized name. If we did, I can imagine the amount of Like Spams getting given out, and spamming threads this would cause.

No, thats basically free donor. People would just go to the "forum games" and spam.

I don't think of it as an award, but just showing that they are indeed an active member, as it does already on the forums. Sr. Staff themselves say they are spammed with Moderator applications, and I assume the ones that are spammed are so they can have the title of moderator, but that doesn't mean no one can apply? Does it?

There are no current perks to active member besides the title, (and the sweg active member club).

Mod apps and active member a different. While one will only get mod if they deserve it, active member is not regulated. Any random guy could spam for active member and receive the title but there's no way to "spam for mod."
