Why is there no friend rank on the forums?

Hey guys,
i was just wondering why there is no friend rank on the forums.

Because it would be nice to be recognised on the forums as a friend rather than a 'member'

Agreed. People should be recognized for what they have done for the community.

It's never really been requested by people with the friend rank, so I don't think it's something they really want.

Recently I've seen players make threads about it but yeah if more people said yes to it then it'll be accepted straight away.

This is right, the fact that it says member, makes me feel that friend is even high enough for a rank on the forums.

Well, I assume it's not high on the devs' priority list. I mean, I wouldn't be in any rush to add it. The majority if the people who see it are ingame.

Because basically, the way that XenForo sets our ranks isn't the greatest, and it would require a loooot more work than it would seem. Basically we could/might do it in the future, but it's really not a priority right now.

I think it's more of a title than a rank.
