So I haven't read through all 18 pages due limited forumming time while on vacation, but what I have seen, I really don't think will improve MCSG, but rather will prove imbalanced and end up ruining the gameplay. Some of the particularly imbalanced suggestions I have seen appearing with rather alarming frequency are iron swords, diamond armor, and god apples. I personally feel that these suggestions would cause Tier 3's to be insanely overpowered, and getting one of them would guarantee you the win. Think about it, with those suggestions, you would arrive at a Tier 3 chest and obtain a level of gear that matches or surpasses entire chest routes of other players. It would completely shift the balance of power, and create a single juggernaut with the power to demolish all the other players in a match.
What I would like to see in Tier 3's are not items that will win the game for you, but rather ones that will give you an edge over the competition. As well as small spawn rates of tier 2 items, I believe that Tier 3 chests should contain:
- 2-5 Bottles of Enchanting
- Potions without OP effects. To clarify, this would contain potions such as level 1 regen or healing, yet not potions that can grant you instant kills such as strength or posion
- Stone swords with a small enchantment (e.g. Knockback or Sharpness 1)
- Bows with a small enchant
- Leather-Chain armor with small enchants
- POSSIBLY Diamond boots/helm, though I'm very iffy on this suggestion
- HORSIES
(Because horses are awesome)
- Large stacks of arrows
- Cake, for teh trollz (It's a lie)
- And, because it's late and I'm realizing I can't actually come up with anything else: PUPPIES
