a chainmail helmet is 1/2 shield stronger than a gold helmet...
sharpness gives 1/2 heart damage for each enchant level
a stone sword does 2 1/2 heart damage, and iron sword does 3 heart damage.
Give a stone sword sharpness I and it gets 3 hearts worth of damage.

It is the pants that give the extra 1/2 armor bar. Chain pants are worth 2, gold are 1.5.

-When fighting in water go underneath and hit them to get off more hits.
-Try and have a route on most of the popular maps by asking people or planning them while you spectate.
