I understand what you mean, but if someone played solo they would get more wins and still move up the leaderboards. Nether the less, will this mean everyone will start from 0 wins on the solo SG leaderboard?

Considering that no one's actually played any games of Solo SG yet, yes. I mean, what other number are they going to legitimately start at?

Will there be a teaming limit?

In Solo SG, there will obviously be a teaming limit of 1. Which is to say, no teaming.
In MCSG, there are currently no plans to implement a teaming rule. We'll already have our hands full moderating Solo SG for teams.

1.8 Blocks on new maps? Unfortunately yes, 1.8 blocks cannot be used on maps anymore. They will simply revert to a block that is contained in 1.7 upon being uploaded to the servers.
On the plus side, most of the blocks in 1.8 were cosmetic, so we didn't lose much functionality in the servers at all. Slimeblocks were the only concern, and they were not commonly used.

I hate to disagree with you but cosmetics are everything in a Survival Games Map, and although most of the blocks in 1.8 were cosmetic, with these 1.8 blocks Builders could of created more beautiful and stunning maps to look at and play on. Also, unless you have personally built an Survival Games Map, you can't even comprehend how much this hurts the building community.

This comment is to the players thinking the games that were cut will not return. Besides starting new rumors, I would maybe not take our words out of context. Like we stated, we removed the games that wasn't polished enough to put our name behind it and planning to release games on that cut list once we improve the quality of the game play. So no, don't panic that games like SGC and QQ will never make a return.

Ok one question about so solo

What if I get put into a situation where I have to team?

For example death match starts and there's one person in full iron and two people with full leather. It would make more sense to team up against the biggest threat, then have a fair 1v1 afterwards right???

Looks fun! What is the building contest going to be like (not the game mode map contest)? Will it be more plot world based or restricted by dimensions? Free to make whatever you feel? Seems very vague imo.

too bad I have a bad pc and I get 20 fps while playing 1.7 rip me -_- I thought 1.8 sucked, but right now I really want 1.8
