The 4th Official MCGamer Awards - Round 1

Hello MCGamers! On behalf of the MCGamer Awards Team, I am pleased to announce the 4th Official MCGamer Awards! We have put a lot of time and thought into making these awards the best one's yet. We have introduced a lot more award categories, arranged opening and closing ceremonies, and some great new prizes! Now before you get your votes in, give me a few moments of your time to explain the procedure in which the awards will take place.

The Opening Ceremony
For the first time(in forever) we are having an opening ceremony to kick off the awards. The opening ceremony will take place at the Community Focus Group this weekend. We will open up the form in which you may go ahead and vote for favourite for each of the categories.

The Categories
We have introduced many new exciting categories to make these awards a lot more fruitful. We have thought long and hard about the following categories and have decided that the categories for these awards are:

Best Admin

Best Member Of The Development Team

Best Sr. Mod

Best Mod

Best VIP

Best Ex-Staff Member

Best Thread

Best Forum Poster

Most Helpful Member

Best Graphics Designer

Best PvPer

Best Gametype

Best Community Event

Round 2
The 2nd round of these awards will be announced 1 week after announcing the 1st round, it will be done after the completion of the biweekly Sr. Staff meeting. We will give the community the option to choose their favourite of the top 5 contestants from round 1. This round will last 2 weeks.
Closing Ceremony
We will invite the top 5 contestants from round 1 onto TeamSpeak for a live streamed closing ceremony in which we will announce the results live on TeamSpeak. Stay tuned for more info in the next MCGA post.
