If a young child has the VIP or Map-Maker rank, they can join out of the blue. Same goes for mod chats and premium chats.

It does in fact concern us. We have to abide by the rules, whilst people with pink names want to be exempted.
Wait wait wait.. You're the one perm banned from TS for soundboard trolling? xD

When I say "abide by the rules", I didn't really mean myself, just the playerbase in general. Thought that was kinda obvious.

Not really by the way it was worded. Saying 'we' includes you and the group of people you were referring to. Also, assuming it's Luke, you don't really come onto the teamspeak anyway - you're banned. I don't see why someone who barely even used the teamspeak for what it was actually intended for should have the right to go around voting what to do with it, especially now. But maybe that's just me.

I still go on the teamspeak sometimes.

Look at it this way: If a VIP was in a public chat and swore by accident thinking they were in a VIP lounge, should they be punished?

Of course not, it was an honest mistake. The problem is that regular players will then believe that it's okay to swear in public channels, with the excuse that a VIP did it.

Now there could be an issue with players not taking the rules seriously.

You might not think I have a place to "vote" on this, but the truth is neither do you. It's the decision of the senior staff. I'm just providing some insight as to why there might be opposition to this suggestion.

Actually a VIP wouldn't get away with swearing, it is mentioned to a Sr. Staff member and then further action is taken, the reason you don't see them being punished by a Mod, is because Mods are not able to deal with VIP's and Map Makers..

Maybe you should research your "Facts" before you spill them onto the page you're looking at.

Seems like you misunderstood me. That was a hypothetical situation.

If VIPs were exempt from the "no swearing" rule, there'd have to be some leniency for accidental cussing in public chats; it's an easy mistake to make. Many a time have mods gotten away with swearing in public channels, either by claiming it didn't happen or was an accident.

Hmm. This is a tough decision. Well, obviously it is up to the higher ranked staff members to decide, but I think it depends who is in the channel at that time. I know that some people get highly offended when someone swears so it comes down to who is in the channel at that time. I also thing that there are plenty of other words to substitute in besides swear words!

If someone gets highly offended when someone swears, he should really consider himself using the internet, lol.
