Yup, but officially we shouldn't, which is so stupid...Doesn't everyone do it anyway? idk, I've never had it enforced
Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.

All I have to say is "Oh well, let them deal with it if they really care that much" which they don'tYup, but officially we shouldn't, which is so stupid...
I'd just like to have it official so Mods can't moan at me and say "Uhh don't cuss here!" - When all I want to do is talk to my friends who I normally cuss around anyway.. With my friendship, the more me and my friends abuse each other the more we like each other... xDAll I have to say is "Oh well, let them deal with it if they really care that much" which they don't
I couldn't be asked to take the time to explain this to you, so I'll just leave this here instead.I don't see why. They're still public chats; any player with sufficient permissions can freely join. Just like premium chats.
So... in that sense Mods shouldn't be allowed to curse in mod chats... cause everyone who is mod or above can join those channels. That doesn't seem right there does it.I don't see why. They're still public chats; any player with sufficient permissions can freely join. Just like premium chats.

Why am I surprised that the majority of people supporting this idea are in fact VIP/Map-Maker? If a thread was started suggesting the idea of being able to swear in premium chats - or even public chats, you'd get the same response.
In that sense no, mods shouldn't be allowed to swear in public chats. I don't see the reason why. Wasn't the "no cussing" rule in place because children play on the server? Well, a lot of moderators here are children.
I'm not against swearing in any channel, but I'm against the idea of certain groups being exempted from the rules because they believe they think that they're more superior or mature. Because that's a joke.
It would be very hard to moderate something like that. I'd suggest allowing swearing in all channels except for a few "family friendly" ones.I do agree with this. I just think it should be allowed everywheres as long as everyone in the channel allows it and it doesn't get to the point where people use it to abuse people. I think if you know everyone in the channel no matter what channel it should be fine, but if someone you don't know joins, just warn them and ask if they feel comfortable with it, if not just don't do it then.
Why am I surprised that the Majority of people not supporting this idea are people the idea doesn't even concern? - VIP/Map Maker lounges are private to us, a young child cant join out of the blue, so there should be no issues. Why am I surprised that the majority of people supporting this idea are in fact VIP/Map-Maker? If a young child has the VIP or Map-Maker rank, they can join out of the blue. Same goes for mod chats and premium chats. Why am I surprised that the Majority of people not supporting this idea are people the idea doesn't even concern? - VIP/Map Maker lounges are private to us, a young child cant join out of the blue, so there should be no issues.
