Possibly, but the thing is that there's other maps on MCSG with even lower radius that doesn't have too much of an issue game play wise.I enjoyed playing this map but on MCSG this would be too small I feel. I made this clear in the testing and I still feel the same way but I do love the builds
solar frost has a low radius but the way the map works actually makes it seems bigger than it is due to all the caves and slow limited movement. This map is quite quick to navigate which makes it good for PvP but has no survival feel too itPossibly, but the thing is that there's other maps on MCSG with even lower radius that doesn't have too much of an issue game play wise.
I'm thinking more test games are needed to prove that this map will provide long enough games eh?As stated, we've had our test games and proven that this map can provide both long and short games.
Adding that extra layer seems like a good idea to me as all maps with small radii have all got multiple layers on them to make up for the lost radius. I will happily come look at the map when you are done and if I like it I can quite happily bring this to other map commity members to look atSo here's the reasons I'm reluctant too make the map bigger,
We have two options when making the map bigger, either increase the radius of the dome and leave the map as it is, hence creating an awfully large body of water which would completely ruin gameplay, or make the map bigger and extend the land, which would mess with our current layout, hence making gameplay worse and less enjoyable, it has recently been proven that MCSG will add small maps, lobby games is one of them. The other map makers and I specifically went into other servers too look for the lobby games in order to accurately gauge the size of the map, we found that the radius was no more than 130 at best, our map being bigger than this clearly shows that it is a perfectly fine size for it too be brought too the mcsg community,
As far as I'm aware the most commonly played maps on mcsg are the small ones, the flat ones and the ones with plenty of tier twos, am I wrong? Our map fits all but one of those criteria, which as it stands the map cannot fulfil it due to the fact that it's not on the servers and so has not officially been tiered.
So I present with you a compromise, though I will have to speak to Charlie about it.
Giving the map more depth by adding a somewhat extensive sewer system, though not in anyway optimal, it would provide the map with an extra layer of depth which would hopefully nullify the mos frequent complaint we get about this map.
Then again when we went around and asked various community members what they thought of the size of the map, they said it was fine, due to them liking the smaller maps.
If it is a necessary step that we must take then by all means, we will take it.

As stated by Wron there is this compromise we could come to. But we have suggested it and looked into the idea before but thought a sewer system would become more of a nuisance, for example the sewers in SG2 are hard to navigate and cause extensive prolongment of games which can become very tedious. But again we could find a way around this and try and present it!So here's the reasons I'm reluctant too make the map bigger,
