There's this own bad hg server my friends used to go on. To avoid campers, there would be random effects that happen to you. (food poison, stubbed your toe, etc.) And eventually, players would randomly die, regardless if they're camping. It might sound like a great idea, but it happens to everyone, and it can be pretty infuriating to lose when you get full iron armor and you stub your toe and die.

Yeah, apparently the owner got arrested for drug possesion or something. The game was incredibly unbalanced, and the server was extermely laggy. Not to mention how gamebreaking the donor perks were.

During beta, there was only SG1 and SG2. I don't know what you're talking about going downhill. You're probably talking about MCSGv2 though. In MCSG's defense, mobs were too powerful, TheHive came out, and there's no such thing as Breeze Island 2.

Okay, but still. Most maps like that aren't usually MCSG's fault, and is usually because the Hive became more popular.

I'm for MCSG, but Hive has way more players, and that's a fact. Take a look at the statistics and you'll see.

I wish all maps were as enchantment friendly as sg and Teweran 2...
In beta, everyone enchanted... it was the only way to win...
I remember a game when my teammate and I both ran into corn with enchanted swords bows and full enchanted iron armor....
We also ran in with 15 dogs each and we took on a team of 2 with similar enchants and about 20 dogs....
It was such an epic battle. Boy do i miss @aero380
