Obsidian Breaker

To further my argument why even have Obsidian if it breaks? It just makes it a useless item. Not to mention do we need more plugins for the server when we still get lag issues from the current ones?

This is factions bases are not suppose to be unraidable. obsidian is just meant to make it harder because it requires more shots, all other faction servers would have this.

If its not added can u at least take it out of the kit so it has to be mined or bought like before. because all i see are small obby vaults that cant be raided.

Most bases covered in obsidian have obviously had a lot of time put into them. After doing such a tedious task, people make sure their base in unraidable. If you have a lot of time on your hands, this is easy to do. Eventually, almost everyone will have bases like this. It will be impossible to raid, which would take all the fun out of factions. If you're not going to add Obsidian breaker, you should at least add creeper eggs into the shop. This would allow you to blow up chests while inside of a base. It may be possible to get inside of a base, but not break the chests using a cannon. Having creeper eggs in the shop would allow players to place the eggs in claimed territory and get the items that way.

You can enderpearl clip into bases though so it's not impossible to get into an obsidian base.

Horrible idea. It makes anyones base penetrable, which gives noobs like me (and people just starting out on the server) a huge disadvantage. If this is added I can see a solid 80% of new players leaving and over 50% of the current players leaving Survival.


EDIT: Some people say that without this, TNT has no purpose, but why not use it for what it was initially made for? Traps!

I think plugins like these take away all the strategy from Factions PvP. There's no "how can I get into that base" (I've been on factions servers since March of 2011, and I've had times where my faction sat there crouching for a solid 45 minutes thinking about how to get in and kill one person xD), it's simply "TNT!"
