Need to build a Gaming Pc! Under $1000

Ok ok about time I ditched my mac (Ill never forget you <3) and build my own pc. Just need someone to sketch me a plan of what parts I should get

Considering your Budget, I'd go with a good AMD build rather than Intel.

GPU - Graphics Processing Unit (Aka Graphics card)
RAM - Memory
Motherboard - The hub of the system
HDD - Hard drive <-
PSU - Power supply (Please don't buy cheap one's and wreck your rig)

Case
Operating system
Optical drives (DVD Drive etc)
