My mum had one of these really old cars that would break down randomly in the middle of the road. And it when it broke down it would take a lot of turning on for it to start moving
One day we were crossing the train tracks with our car when it decided to stop right there and then while the red lights were flashing...
I was practically ready to jump out of the car but my mum decided to stay in the car and try to turn it on
By some miracle it turned on the first attempt which never usually happens
We managed to cross the rail roads with people staring at us from all directions
Five second later the red and white road block (if that's what you call it) came down... A bit after that the train went past
We never drove in that car again since
Although I didn't get injured it could have turned out a lot worse which it didn't thankfully
