I never said the staff do nothing- that would be ignorant. What I did say was that the staff (the sr staff, specifically) don't do the right things. The mod application system is messed up I- see randies with no clue what hacks look like getting mod, but my friends with previous moderating experience and no blemishes in their history get denied. The senior staff also don't have the tenacity to crack down on the hacker problem. There are obvious solutions, but they're being idiots and not choosing them.As a former moderator I can say that it isn't as easy as it looks like for you. They still try every day to get rid of as many hackers as possible. I personally have performed around 3.000 bans, but it doesn't seem to stop the amount of people joining with hacks every day.
If you feel like you got a solution to this problem, feel free to state it. They'll be happy to review it and if it seems it could be succesfull, actually use your idea. But please, only saying that the staff doesn't do anything is not true, and only annoying to read. As you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Could you please tell us those "solutions"?I never said the staff do nothing- that would be ignorant. What I did say was that the staff (the sr staff, specifically) don't do the right things. First time permabans and reintroducing ip bans. Don't give me any 'everyone deserves a second chance' bs, I don't want to hear it. They also need to improve the no-cheat- other servers have mechanisms for autobanning kill aura users.Could you please tell us those "solutions"?
First time permabans will never be a thing. Even though we have a well trained staff team unfair bans still happen by accident. Those people don't deserve to be Perm banned instantly. Also if you look at the statistics a lot of people actually learn from their mistakes and stop using hacks after their first ban.First time permabans and reintroducing ip bans. That's not an issue with the proposed system; that's just staff incompetence.First time permabans will never be a thing. Even though we have a well trained staff team unfair bans still happen by accident. Those people don't deserve to be Perm banned instantly.
How come you don't use the same protocol when dealing with permanently banned alts? Seems quite contradictory and hypocritical...IP bans are also out of the question, what if you live in a house with multiple people that play on MCGamer? Do they deserve to be banned aswell? And if I'm not mistaken IP bans do not work currently.
I Feel you dude. 2013, Was a easy year for everyone on mcsg. Everyone had one chance.

Hacking has always been a 2 step process.
In this, you seem to have contradicted yourself, by saying that it isn't fair for hackers to get if you don't get a second chance, but you did in fact get a second chance... and a third chance. Your ban was fair, and I'm not allowed to say much more because ban information is not available to the public.
This thread will be locked now because it has the potential to cause flame and discussing bans in public is not allowed. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me in a civil manner. The staff isn't out to get you, we're here to help.
