I think that terraforming actually makes maps better :D

This was 2 months ago... when I was stupid
I don't reallying think it's stupid, maps with that natural feel are easy to get lost in, plus I love the man-made feel of maps like SG2 and Avarcia.

I partially agree.
Terraform-heavy maps are often done 'wrong'
An SG map needs landmarks or striking features, to allow players to learn and navigate the map. A lot of terraform-heavy maps nowadays place structures too sporadically and don't get adventurous enough with the terraforming, leaving a pretty, but slightly bland, and difficult to navigate map.

But Just do waht you can without editing terrain first then if you feel as if you need to, go go look for terrain Ninjas.
