Not true. I see more chests with 2 pairs of boots and a cooked fish more often than I see chests with only clocks and compasses. Still just as useless in my opinion.

Chests were fine IMO, I swear to god if enderpearls are added I will punch a baby sea lion in the face. Sponsoring was super broken though.....

But polishing up things can make them lose their value. Especially if you 'polish' it wrong.
