That was a build I pulled off reddit for gaming, not for Ultimate Fishing Rod Of Doom minecraft.

It's quite frankly stupid as bunnies to base your build on one game, so the build is ya know...well rounded. There isn't a 2 GB 290 either.

edit: BaccaBoy1999 the build was oriented around gaming, not Ultimate Fishing Rod Of Doom minecraft.

And the 750 is not going to hold up for 1080p 2015 games (witcher 3 etc), the 760 is out of production.

You COULD swap it for a 280, but the 290 is much better.
All I know is right now he is running 30 fps on minecraft, and he hasn't mentioned other games. So talking about 1080 witcher 3 is a big step. My rig can run most FPS games at 60 on Medium settings, and that's all I need (I have a 750 and i3 3220).

300 fps on UHC (Less builds/laggy stuff) 120ish on MCSG (More builds/laggy stuff)
I also overclock my processor and videocard
What brand is your 750?

Even if he's running 30 fps, I would rather the dude have a better build in the long run than just have an "acceptable" experience now..

edit: GhostOfQualia Well...a pentium outperforms a 6300 in core-core performance, so obviously an i3 would do better. But basing your build on one game is really really really Ultimate Fishing Rod Of Doom stupid.

Is it safe to clock it more? I don't really know much about it.

Not so stupid, he obviously plays minecraft and didn't mention any other games. It's not as though an i3 and a 760 is going to perform terrible on other games. The build you proposed was good for overall gaming but could be bested by mine in minecraft.

I didn't know you could get afterburner with non MSI cards lol. It's altering the voltage that can cause real damage to your GPU, idk how far you can push the other manipulator options. I'm guessing it depends on the quality of your card's cooling system (fans). What I mean by this is that a card with multiple fans would be able to be pushed further than yours, which has 1 fan. Also on your PSU and its rating.

If you have warranty on these items, it probably doesn't cover damage by overclocking too much. Companies offer it as an appealing deal but it only really covers damage not caused by you. Really depends on the company.

If I were you, I'd quit while I was ahead lol. You are not getting bad fps by any standards.

I am only 17
