I have the same graphics card, but I have 12 GB of ram, as well as a Core i7 3770k for the processor. With shaders it gets around 20-30 fps on far and fancy, changing those doesn't really affect the fps that much (I only got around 30-35 fps on tiny), its hard to actually play with shaders on but if you need them for screenshots then it works great. Also, no problem :)
Can I have your computer? lol

Your would get VERY high fps without shaders. However, with shaders you would only get ~20. If you can try upgrading the graphics card to a gtx 650 ti or gtx 660. Also get the i3 3220 processor, it's a lot better.

I have a similar build and I get about 120 fps with optifine and a 128x texture pack while recording. While not recording I get around 200 fps (varies slightly depending on the map). These results are on far and fancy, it would obviously be higher if you used lower settings, but you really don't need higher fps if you have above 60.
Ahem, specs plox?

I'm thinking about getting a new computer. Here's the parts I'm getting:
  • AMD Athlon X4 750k processor
  • MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Motherboard
  • MSI Geforce GTX 650 ti
  • 4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram
  • 500GB HDD
I was wondering how much FPS that I'll get on max settings. BTW this build cost $510
With shaders maybe 30. (i got that off a youtube vid.)

I would have to agree with Cadbane (on most parts, VERY high FPS is a bit of an exaggeration). You'll be a lot better off with the i3 3220 than with that AMD card. Also, that build doesn't include the PSU, the OS, the optical drive, the case, or a CPU cooler. Have you factored those in to your overall pricing?

Anyways, here are three build suggestions I have for you, one in that price range with just the parts you mentioned, what that computer would end up costing with all the parts a computer needs, and a final, more realistic option that sacrifices a few components in order to be more affordable.

Setup 1 - The Core Components - $482

Setup 2 - The Whole Shebang (No Compromise) - $680

Setup 3 - The Realistic Choice - $564
