I'm thinking about getting a new computer. Here's the parts I'm getting:
  • AMD Athlon X4 750k processor
  • MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Motherboard
  • MSI Geforce GTX 650 ti
  • 4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 Ram
  • 500GB HDD
I was wondering how much FPS that I'll get on max settings. BTW this build cost $510

No one can predict how many FPS you get

I can help you though, you'll definitely get 20.

Seriously? Cause when I saw this build on Youtube he was able to run BF3 on high settings at 40 FPS. I assumed that because it could do that it would be able to run Minecraft too. Never mind then I guess.

Why would your computer need multiple frames?
Why would your computer even need a frame?
Well I guess one then.
Weird...

I have a similar build and I get about 120 fps with optifine and a 128x texture pack while recording. While not recording I get around 200 fps (varies slightly depending on the map). These results are on far and fancy, it would obviously be higher if you used lower settings, but you really don't need higher fps if you have above 60.

Word of advice, if you're going for a gaming rig Intel seems to be leading the race over AMD and as for your question, I do not believe anyone could calculate how many FPS you would get but my guess is that it would be running pretty smoothly.

What's the difference between my build and yours? Also have you tried running it with Shaders on? If you have how much FPS did you get on what settings? Sorry for all the questions but Thanks for the info :)

I have the same graphics card, but I have 12 GB of ram, as well as a Core i7 3770k for the processor. With shaders it gets around 20-30 fps on far and fancy, changing those doesn't really affect the fps that much (I only got around 30-35 fps on tiny), its hard to actually play with shaders on but if you need them for screenshots then it works great. Also, no problem :)
