Failed to resolve hostname(Add server option)/Unknown Host(Direct Connect Option) Error

It might be because im using fiber optic which is kinda unstable but im not sure what you mean by complete access as the only thing I cant do with my current router ( provided by cable company and cant be changed) is port forward . Im just curious why certain I cant connect to certain servers like mcsg, other than that im dont think that theres any connection problems with the router which might cause this problem .

not really , i was not sure who to message and apparently this isint a common problem...

do you mean i have to sign up for openDNS? I can get onto every other server on minecraft but this one. Isn't there another way? Is it a router problem?
