Our Minecraft servers are offline but we will keep this forum online for any community communication. Site permissions for posting could change at a later date but will remain online.

No problem, I loved it!
Hello Tributes!
Over the past 2 months, the MCGamer Staff and Community have been coming together on the Teamspeak every few evenings to log on the EU Network, and catch as many hackers as possible. And it was worth it! Over the past Spring season, we managed to get rid of no less than 820 hackers from the network! With 242 bans processed by the community members that attended. All our sweeps were successful, and the OCS Crew never let you down, as every single sweep was held, none were cancelled. And that takes some effort and dedication! Moving on, we agreed that we're all up for a small break, as holding Cleansweeps for two months can ask a lot of time and energy, and with our new anti-cheat, it's been more difficult for the staff and community to find hackers, as they're most of the time already banned by it. Fun fact, in the last 2 sessions, we only got a total of 3 bans ourselves, however anti-cheat rocked it with an average of 1,500 bans each day!
At this point in time, EU is once again able to stand on her own again and fight back those hackers with her new husband, XAC (Xime Anti-Cheat). There have been plans for some upcoming AU Cleansweeps, so keep an eye out for that as well!
If we do notice an increase of hackers, the OCS Crew will be on stand-by, ready to intervene, swing those hammers and clean the servers.

In previous operations, this has proven to be a successful option in eliminating hackers from the EU network; however, we are still looking into ways to make the operation even more successful. If you have any ideas for the Cleansweep, feel free to PM me, AlpakaWhacker , Axanite , Mauro , MisiLica, and/or mfungamer . In order to catch more hackers, we organize 2 hour cleansweeps during the peak times on the EU network and sometimes an impromptu sweep which would last for an hour on average. The times will be listed below.

Shoutouts!
First of all, I want to thank each and every person that attended one of the Cleansweep sessions! Your help is immensely appreciated, and look at that! Without your help, we wouldn't have been able to ban that many hackers from the network. Big shoutout to all the staff members that were there, and constantly running the even, and to the community, that got about 1/4 of the total bans!
However, there were some people who have showed exemplary service during the Cleansweeps and therefore, they deserve a shoutout and a Golden Spring OCS Medal.
Up first, the EU OCS Staff team: Thank you AlpakaWhacker Nephilim mfungamer Axanite MisiLica and Mauro for your support and for helping running the cleansweeps.
Up next, JLioner and Scott for their previous work for the EU OCS! Two wonderful staff members that have resigned, but will never be forgotten, and also be thanked with a golden medal.
Up last, but definitely not the least important, Vigilo and Tiger ! They have voluntarily run quite a few Cleansweeps themselves and will also be granted a golden medal.
A huge thank you to the rest of the Staff team, for being there and helping out knocking those hackers off of their flying carpets!

And a massive thank you to all the community members that have attended as well! You guys did great and in about the same amount of time (8 weeks), you managed to get double the amount of hackers than last season! Give yourselves a pat on the back!
