I'll try that when I get on my computer. Thanks! Out of curiosity, what does servers.dat do?

Essentially just stops you from having to put all the servers in manually, and stops any mistakes in the server domains as a result.

Should that not work, what should I do? (It may be worth noting that all usXX.mcsg.in servers work at my friend's house and he is a block and a half away. I also have XFINITY High Speed Internet.)

Is it just in the server list that they time out? Have you tried connecting to any of them, because I have had them not reach in the list, but then connect fine in-game many times.

On the server list it says 'Cannot Reach Server' and when I connect it says 'Connecting to the server' for a bit and then it says 'Cannot connect to server. Connection timed out:connect' which I have found out means that the server isn't responding to my attempts to login.

This might sound stupid, but are you definitely signed in to minecraft? A lot of launchers such as magic launcher do not always login, and don't tell you that they haven't.

I'm pretty sure. I use Magic Launcher and I haven't had problems like that before, and I can connect to other servers as well. I tried with standard launcher and it still didn't work. I have migrated my account to a Mojang account for the security, so I sign in with my e-mail instead of a username.

Are you sure all the outbound ports from 25565 to 25590 are open on your router, they usually are.

Bump as the problem persists, even on a separate computer.
