Guide Catching Hackers.

I would like to see a plugin that says when a person is moving too fast or it moved wrong.
Because if the person is speed hacking the plugin will constantly say he is moving too fast which means the person hacks.
Plugin will wont make any action it will be just to notify you and I would like it could be enabled and disabled by command.

Hi myself as moderator, has created this guide. To inform you as the non-staff community of how you can help us.

Ever noticed hackers? Well you can help, yes you. This guide will show you how you can help and contain a lot of useful information.

First let’s start by finding you a decent recording software.

• Myself I use ‘EZVids’, Which is free and I run no problem with no lag!
  
  
• Alot of my fellow moderators use ‘Fraps’, but you do have to pay for fraps and require a very good system to run effectively.
  
  
• CracklingHD uses DXtory CracklingHD says: Its good I guess, a lot more settings than Fraps, less intensive, more FPS while recording, smaller file sizes.
  
  
• I strongly recommend you stay away for Screen-O-Matic; It really used to lag me, making it almost impossible to record.

How to spot hackers/modders/rule breakers.

• Aimbot - Aimbot is fairly easily detected when the hacker is fighting two players, they have the ability to hit players without looking at them or if they are attacking one player and the hackers head is following the movement of the other player.

• Speed hacks - This is when a player is running faster than any other normal player. They will not have particles under their feet. If you believe that a player is speed hacking but the have particles under their feet it is most probably lag.

• ForceField/Kill Aura - You can detect FF/KA when a player is hitting and is hitting every entity in its path. Even objects.

• Spider - Spider is easy to detect, Spider is when a player can climb walls without the use of ladders/vines.

• Fly - Easy they can fly!

• Step - Step gives the ability to climb whole blocks like you can climb stairs on minecraft.

• Jesus/Water Walking - Another easy hack to detect they can walk on water.
• Other things you can report for is; Spam, Caps, Abuse and Admitting to hacks.

I recently saw a hack were someone was running through the loot and his armor changed always to the armor which he collects from the ground... (while running and fighting)
He often got worse armor so its a little dumob... but its still cheating

Personally, I use fraps and that doesn't give me any fps drops. Other than that, great guide, and in my opinion the hackers are going down, ready for the summer break!

All i do is light them on fire. If any freaky sounds / insane crit's happen. I know they're hacking.

First of all Fraps is good, I use it myself(I RUN PERFECT). But I agree with the thread because it's helpful to some people who don't know how to catch hackers.

More Moderators are being hired every day, or applications are being accepted, give the Sr. Moderators a break, they're people too, and have A LOT to take care of, also, remember that the ''Pre-Moderators'' need to come to the Sr. Staff, the Sr. Staff doesn't come to them.

Even though Regen was patched by Xime. (Good job Devs!) Remember to include it!

• Regen hackers will shuffle their feet while eating.
• While eating, regen hackers will eat, and may sound very loudly.
• If a player is regen hacking, when set on fire, it will instantly go out.
• If a player takes more than usual hits, they are most likely regen hacking.

Just some points you can hopefully stuff in a couple sentences!
