If you can use both the you pretty much can take out anyone :p As to which I do love using my fire >:D But having a arrows and a bow is very important. I think the real question should be, If you have one flint. Do you use it for 1)Arrows or 2)FnS.

Personally I think that should have been the question asked ;)
It really depends on the map. For maps with a lot of water, I would also go for arrows as they can help finish someone off when they jump in the water.
On the other hand, I think being able to place fire 4 times is worth more than 4 arrows on a land based map.

As I said before, both have their advantages, really depends on the situation.

Not going against that :p I personally couldn't pick one over the other. The only time I would 100% take arrows over FnS would be for Breeze island, I am going of playing in death match. Normally in game you could always get more where as in DM its thinking fast making the right choice and fas. Back to point, Breeze being the only map that springs to mind(Not counting freeze as US and EU do not have it I do believe) where FnS would be wasted with very very little land and being able to attack over the water would be a HUGE advantage to you.

If being before DM then it would totally matter on the map and where I am. Not just water but how hilly the area is, How much grass is around, Are you in a Forrest or open planes. This is why Survival games is so much fun, You don't even have to be amazingly good at pvp or winning and still have a blast playing and working out the best tactic to win. Or in my case last long enough to get something good and die about 3 seconds later <3 ahaa
