But like I said 1.7 is actually "Better" than BSM because you won't stop until you let go of both keys.
While in BSM, if you let go of one then you start walking which is not good as sprinting.

BSM is a toggle? there's no letting go of the key.

Well, Chad certainly didn't know, he has said before (probably deleted, can't find it) that you COULD sprint sideways and backwards.

Check all the bans I do. I banned for BSM regularly on MCSG. I have 3 different profiles and I went to play on a different server yesterday with my 1.6.4 profile. Logged in to MCSG by mistake. Also, Speghetti can back me up that I have NEVER used BSM on MCSG..

^^^ It's true, he's by far the most honest mod, and person, I've ever met on MCSG. And I know for a fact he was testing it on a different server & that he uses 1.7 on MCSG.

Still kinda confused even after scrolling through countless pages. What if the auto detect "accidentally" bans you for the 1.7 auto sprint? Doesn't make sense as to how they could be identified differently.

The mod, BSM, sends a message to the server saying: "Hey there random server, I have BSM installed", our plugin checks for this message and takes action against it. So it is impossible for it to mistake it for a vanilla sprint. It only checks for that message, not how you sprint.
