My files are not that big actually compared to others.

Fraps in my opinion is the best for game play. But thats just me and its not free.

For Dxtory use the Largarith codec. And Dxtory has a better quality at lower res and higher res videos. If I know anything it's video editing xD

Ok, This is coming from a 1 year long youtuber, I use Xsplit to record when i am rednering(Because it doesnt drop frames and most people dont know that you can record with xsplit) Dxtory is far better quaity then fraps but fraps files are smaller, and to get them free just torrent lol. its not like the internet police are gonna hunt you down!

I recommend BUYING the full version of Fraps. The free trial only gives you 30 seconds to record. I use Screenflow on my Mac and get a constant 70-120 fps while recording. (The file sizes are about 2GB per minute, as I'm recording at 2560x1440 (UltraHD)

Fraps, but if you get too much lag with then then try out Dxtory or Bandicam

I use dxtory. Youtube only needs 30 fps for the video to run smooth, and dxtory allows you to record at 3o frames. And then get the amount you usually get. It does cost money, but id say its worth it!

I use Dxtory, but I would only suggest it if you have an external hard drive. Otherwise, its not that expensive, only like 35$
