I PLAY IT BECAUSE I GET THE BEST FPS ON THAT MAP.
I just played a game. Died to a guy in full leather because I accidentally opened my inventory xD
I get lag spikes on that map like im at 115 FPS then suddenly for 3 seconds BAM! 35 FPS (this is not the reason why I hate breeze island)

I can confirm that the default, at least for me, was 260.
I'm still seeing if there was an increase in FPS or not.

My god... People don't know about computers sometimes...
Think of it like this:

If you have a 60ghz display, the most fps you'll see is 60. No more. Anything more is just a number on a screen. So there will be NO noticeable difference between 60-162791

If you have a 120ghz display, the most fps you'll see is 120. No more. Anything more is just a number on a screen. So there will be no noticeable difference between 120-162791

So, what yin is saying is essentially doing nothing, it's all in your mind. Putting the frames to the max it'll let you go in normal minecraft is doing the same thing. It's just not letting there be a cap on the fps of minecraft.
