1) Make sure Minecraft is closed
2) Open up %appdata% and search for .minecraft
3) Find a text document labeled "options", open it
4) The 12th option should be labled maxfps. Set it up to an extremely high number (I set mine to 10,000)
5) At the top of the document, hit the file button, and click save
6) Open minecraft and enjoy
I personally got a 40+ Frames Per Second average boost from this. Don't know if it's just a lucky day, or this. Give it a try!
