If you guys haven't noticed yet at the MCSG, almost half of the players on the servers used to play on survival. But the first time you shut it down, that lost about 400 players from the servers. The second world you created, recently taken down, had half of that amount. Who all now are either waiting to see the day that we can have a permanent survival server, or are accepting the fact that there will never be one. Me personally, I'm waiting for that day. Because I know as a fact that despite all the imperfections in the MCSG, that you know how to do the right thing.
I've heard that you shut it down due to the warring factions, always bickering to the staff about hacking, now let me tell you back when the first world was up, I also had the Nodus mod installed. I was punished yes, caught. But if you could have seen what I saw, with tracers and ESP, the amount of hacking going on in this server is far out of your control. Now, I cannot say I have seen this lately, because I do not have hacks any more. But the point is that even if these factions did hack, the problem is not that they hack, its the fact that the staff are complaining to the admins about it. Eventually adding up to the ultimate doom of the server.
Now I know I can't make anyone do anything, but I would say let the hackers be hackers until they are caught by authorities. Do not openly report them, do not tell a mod, simply record it, screenshot it, and post the video or screenshot in the report abuse forums. But now that we could not complete this, we have been punished, and now are missing one of the biggest Minecraft phenomenons known to date. What I say is directly to life, the man known only to me and a small number of others on that day of exile. Take the ban down. Let the people back in. Give us all another chance, I know I have no right asking for this, as it may seem indecisively written, because me myself, I do not know if this is even the reason you have taken down the server.
But back to the topic, you have lost at least a quarter of your players due to this action, and some of which, me included, have paid money to have these certain privileges, and now they are gone. The only thing I can do now as diamond donor is put 4 votes towards a SG map. 75$ for 3 extra votes, I honestly cannot believe what has been done to the survival server. At least consider to bring it back up... For the people. It is the best survival I have played on MC, ever actually. Now that its gone I don't know if I have any need for the brilliant game I have paid so much time, so much work into. Chances are you won't even see this thread. Just thought I'd try.

) so I can play on a server where everyone isn't constantly yelling at each other. I can see how bringing it down would affect everyone though, and I don't think that that was the best course of action given the circumstances. But Survival has always been the sort of controversial part of MCGamer. It's been up and down for ever, since it was first introduced so long ago.
