I just built a PC for around the price of $1100. It works like a charm; it's not a crap-box! D: I get on average with Optifine 400 FPS and don't lag at all in games such as DayZ or Battlefield. If you wanted, I could post the parts I bought. I just made this about 3-4 weeks ago, and have encountered absolutely no problems.

Your dad's price will get you a great PC.

I got help with this from Erisyuka

Thanks for the help man, and since I have a monitor already, it would cost roughly 1000$. Sorry I called your computer a crap box :(

Get an alienware computer which will save a TON of money not $1000, yeah getting a custom built you will feel the pride of building it but in all honesty getting a good computer which is way cheaper then $3000, you could even get extra stuff for your computer, keyboard extra monitor.

Lol, you're funny.

Alienware is way overrated according to many, many people. You're paying for the brand just as much for the product. There's too many cases of it not living up to expectations.

Im not much of a computer person for other games so I'm kinda of a new but my buddy has an alienware 3 monitor placement thing, which in all honesty is fun to play on. When i got to his house its fun to actually play on good computer. We played mine craft LAN and it was some of the most fun i had in a while.

They are good, but not worth the money. It is like if you bought a Mac instead of a PC. It may be fun to play on but it is not worth they money and as stated before might not live up to expectations.
