Hello I'm new to this great community where can I go to get started? I don't know anyone on here so I have no connections to help to get to know some people in the community, so as an introduction to a noob, I'm Kang Kao!

Tips for a begginer -
A) Learn the map, get used to the chest locations.
B) Don't run from a fight just because your're scared, as long as your armor, health or weapons are better you may well win.
C) Even a wood sword is life changing, it adds a small advantage over unarmed tributes, and makes for easy hunting.
D) Have a plan, do I run to the corn or head to the boat? Do I make an allience or not? Have all this planned out BEFORE the game.

Just join one. They are mostly all the same.
You can look here to the status of all the US servers And all the IP's
And there are EU servers too, 10 of them.
You can watch the status of the EU servers here. And all the IP's

But just play the game, explore the world. And most importantly! Have fun

Learn the map.
Get a wolf, but if you don't have one check behind your back a lot for sneak attacks.

Dont worry once you get used to the game you'll be killing everyone every round Maybe you could read the books or watch the Film just to grasp the concept

I have read the first book 5 times and saw the movie 4 times in theaters. haha believe me it was awesome! 1st time seeing it with my sisters who read it first, 2nd time watching it with my brothers who read it after i did, 3rd time with my friends from school, and 4th time with my nephew because he wanted to see it and he didn't want to go alone. Now that I have define how much of a nerd I am I will now volunteer in the Hunger Games! by the way in the 2nd book there was a thing called the Second Quarter Quell that had 48 tributes to fight and die in. Will that be incorporated as a different mode in future servers?
