As a regular MCSG user who is genuinely respectful to higher power, in such a world, this incident that occurred was a rather irritating offense taken. Today on January 4th, Sunday at around 7:30 AM I was ridiculed repeatedly for jokingly unaware of breaking a rule that is somehow deemed as a horrible thing. When someone asked, "Is a Mod on?" I, being the funny unintentional person that I am answered back, "I'm a mod, what seems to be the problem, sir?" Now, clearly I am just a regular player with a personal score like everyone else so I kind of assumed people would realize and just brush it off (the player who asked did however). After several ish minutes an in game VIP decided to ask, "Brinst, are you really a moderator." Still being the "jokester" while trying to make things light I decided to answer, "I could be, you'd never know ! and "I've got you fooled!" At that time I don't know anything about in game moderators and was still thinking that this VIP member has to realize that I am in fact not a MOD! A minute or two goes by and a "Sr mod" comes to aid the VIP's command in hopes to catch this impersonating monster that I was being. The VIP tells him that I was offending his authority and was impersonating a mod! Still flustered and confused, while still trying to talk my peace I was being talked down to by the the moderator who joined. I was falsely accused of one of the warnings that was received such as offending the VIP's authority when in fact he too offended me as a player, making my entire MCSG experience a bad one. I will however say this, if a VIP cannot tell the difference between a regular player who decides to make a funny and an actual mod than what exactly is the purpose of him being in the higher authority or having them to begin with? That probably isn't the best if he had to ask me for my actual title. Thank you for your time, former MCSG player.
