So in Illinois, there have been terrible tornadoes;
This image is from the wreckage and destruction that took place, just 5-10 minutes away from me.
Why am I writing this thread? Cause people close to me have been affected by these. My best friend who moved away from me last year, doesn't have a house anymore. This is by the hand of the wicked tornadoes. I'd just like to stop and say what I think about this.
These destructions are terrible, and people were left without homes. My mom's cousins, my best friend, and many others who live around my area are left homeless by this twister. As soon as I heard my friend had lost his house about 2 hours ago, I felt devastated. I decided I needed to show this. These people are going through a lot, and I'd like to say we should remember these people, and help them.
I'd like to send all of my prayers for the victims of this tragedy, and their families. The charities that are helping this are great. This thread is to point out the bad things that are happening, and that we can make a difference.
For all the people who have been affected by natural disasters in general, such as the Philippines. These things are horrible, and they can't go unrecognized. I'd like to send this message, by creating this thread, so that we know that we need to appreciate life, and that things can turn bad in a heartbeat.
Thanks for reading this thread, and I hope I've made my point. The relief foundations are great, and I hope everyones being safe. I feel bad for everyone and hope they can rebuild their lives as soon as possible
