Better Sprint Mod has now been eliminated on our servers!

I just saw this and seeing as I don't want to read through 35 pages of comments forgive me if this has already been asked, but will these auto-kicks/mini-bans count on your record or be disputable (I'd guess not)? Also, have you made sure that this does not accidentally kick people who are only using the 1.7 toggle-sprint? If you haven't made sure should people stick to double tap for now until you work out the bugs?

1. They do count on your record, but do not count against you (for example, when applying for mod).
2. Sprint toggle is a built-in 1.7 feature. This auto detector only checks for the Better Sprint Mod, as we are never going to ban for a vanilla feature.

Auto kicks will not be counted against you as you cannot even use it on our servers.

1.7 sprinting is a new vanilla feature (not BSM!) and still will be allowed (aka will not auto kick for it). Somehow some youtubers stated "BSM is now in 1.7" but that isn't the case which caused a lot of confusion.

First off, please do not harass other community members.

Auto bans will not be counted towards mod applications. They still count for punishing staff members. Why?
As subv3rsion said, moderators are held to a higher standard than the rest of the community, and are thus expected to follow the rules/change their JAR before connecting.

Please drop the subject, as staff punishment is not on topic with this thread, not to mention staff discipline is none of your business, with all due respect.
