lol, that cube was a joke, even though it is very practical design, its too expensive. If you need any help in choosing what parts you want, I can help out :)
If only I had the money. xD But sure, if you could help me pick out parts if I were to buy a new computer case. :) I can't really buy all the parts at once, but maybe I could slowly build up a computer one piece at a time. :p

I already had the GTX 650 Ti Boost in mind for graphics card, but what other parts would you suggest? :)

I found this website useful when choosing computer parts (CPU, GPU and Motherboard):
http://community.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/NVIDIA+GeForce+GTX+660/review

Here's a break down of the pc I built for myself:
CPU: i5-3570k @ 3.2 Ghz can be overclocked - Great CPU, will last you for a very long time, 3rd generation. 4th Gen did come out this year, so if you want the most uptodate hardware, go for the 4th gen. You don't have to get 4th gen, but if you want the latest hardware, then yeah, 4th gen.

GPU: Asus Nvidia 660 2GB can be overclocked - By that review, it can run all games on recommended settings and also run on max settings with decent FPS (never gets lower than 40 on heavy games). If you want the latest hardware, then the next one up is the 760, the 700 series came out this year. Not much improvement, maybe 10fps or so more, but on the other hand, you have the latest hardware

RAM: Kingston HyperX 8Gb @ 1600 Mhz - Nice and fast for a cheep price

Motherboard: ASRock Pro3 - Cheep motherboard that can has a Z77 socket (i5) that's a plus, 1x PCI - E for the GPU, 2x SATA 3.0 6 SATA 2.0, 2x USB 3.0 2x USB 2.0. You get what you need, for a nice cheep price

PSU: Sharkoon 600W, don't need all that power, could have gotten the 500W, but with the extra wats, I can easily upgrade without having to get a new psu, its also quite, +1

SSD: 120Gb, I use it for OS and games, I have an external HDD for storage

Case: Sharkoon T9 Midi ATX Value Edition - Again, not bad for the price, has 3 built in fans and 2x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 2.0 at the top. Its a nice case, but now I'm seeing better ones for the same price (cyborg cube, jk, that's 100 bucks more expensive :p)

Pshhh, I'll just copy-paste what I put on Yahoo! Answers and put it on here, because #yolo #sweg. :D I do not plan on using Shaders or anything, I believe. :p

Hello! :)
Christmas is nearing, and the one thing that has really been on the top of my wishlist is a new graphics card for my pc. As my pc currently stands, it is not built for gaming - simply for just browsing and whatnot.

With that, I REALLY would like to buy a new graphics card to satisfy my wants in my pc. I don't play too heavy-duty games, more just like games such as The Sims 3 and Minecraft. Of course, I still want a graphics card that I may be able to play other games on in the future. :p

As my pc currently stands, in Minecraft, I get around 10-30 fps on lowest settings, and as for The Sims 3, I get around 10 fps. In Minecraft, I enjoy playing on pvp servers so I'm looking for a graphics card that could run at least 60 fps+, and as for The Sims 3, I want it to look smooth on either normal or high settings. :)

Here are the specs of my pc as it is now:

Model | HP Pavillion a6519fh PC
Graphics Card | Intel GMA 3100 (G33/G31 Chipset)
Ram | 3 GB
Processor | Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU @ 2.00 GHz 2.00 GHz
System Type | 32 Bit Operating System - Windows Vista
Space | 231 GB free of 455 GB

Yes, I know I will have to upgrade all of this eventually, but as for now, I am looking to start with a graphics card. I have heard that I may have to buy a new power supply, so I will try to see what I can do regardless.

I have a budget of around $200. Any more than that will be pushing it with what my family and I can afford at the moment, but I can see what I can do. c:<

So yes, see what you all can recommend, and any help would be great! :)
Hey man, a couple of problems with your setup:
1 - you say you're looking to play Minecraft, but gaming in the future? You would certainly want to upgrade your processor as dual-cores are rapidly becoming out of date, along with the ram - I would considering upgrading to atleast 8gb of either Corsair Vengeance of Kingston Hyper X - perhaps lose Vista also.
2 - if you upgrade your graphics card, this would also involve buying a new power supply and ensuring your motherboard/pc case can fit the newly purchased graphics card.
However:
I would thoroughly recommend something from the GeForce line (EVGA or NVidia both work really well), perhaps 660-680, although 670/80 may be far out of your price range, I currently own the NVidia GeForce 780 (along with my i7) and it works like a beast (maxing +1800fps on low settings/render distance on Minecraft).
A problem with NVidia is its high price, much like Intel processors, so I could recommend going for something by AMD, for example: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Radeon-DirectCU-Graphics-GDDR5-Express/dp/B008RW0R10/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1384445154&sr=8-4&keywords=Amd graphics card, this 2GB card will easily help you get to 100fps+, however you may also want to consider investing in a few more gb's worth of processing ram (I recommended 6GB+ atleast).
But it is pointless investing in too expensive of a graphics card as your processor isn't that powerful at-all and you would simply end up bottle-necking your graphics card.

Conclusion: Perhaps save up a little more and purchase a better processor and graphics card.

My current 'important' specs:
NVidia GeForce GTX 780 4GB
Intel i7 4820k OC'd to 4.8Ghz
8GB Ram

period*, no, not at all. He can utilise the case/current memory he has. However, most of it does need updating.
Yes he does

He needs a new:
New Operating System
Ram
Graphics Card
Hard Drive
Processor
PSU his pc only has 250w
A new Case that PC cant hold all of that
He needs a new PC

No:
Vista can still be used, just advised upgrading
Ram - 3GB just needs to be upgraded
yes, new graphics card.
Hard drive can simply be updated, but that doesnt need to be immediate
Processor, yes, I've already said that.
PSU, yes, already said that.
Finally, you dont know the size of his case. Could be a 60cm tower for all you know c:::

I dont know if you're incapable of reading or something, but he's already said his budget is $200, you have fun trying to get a brand new PC capable of running games for $200.

If he increases his budget by 200 dollars a Build would be great, and i know about that
