for my post count to reach the 4 digits!

That’s right, this is my 1000th post! (If the MCSG forums didn’t derp.)

Warning: I love to type long posts. This was written late at night. I deleted a lot of stuff, but some things that aren’t relevant, I kept. This is long. Be warned.
Warning: This chronicles mainly MCSG-related events, but also some things that happened in my life that affected my behavior online.

So, first of all, my Story. Please excuse me if I go off on other subjects. I’ll try and stay mainly relevant, but there are some large events that explain certain parts of my behavior.
I started out in.. August, 2012? Sometime around there. I learned about MCSG by watching Antvenom’s POV of Survival Games One - No, sorry, no special “I magically was inspired to play Survival Games” or anything. I watched that one video several times, and wanted to play. My family was getting a bit more than chaotic, and I was trying to find a way to escape from the real world. I logged in, and was a huge noob. Knew nothing, had no chest routes, and thought I was decent at PvP (Towny servers aren’t exactly the best place for learning to PvP,) but was actually quite bad. I suppose I was average, for a noob. I was one of the people who’d ask to team in chat, but I knew that grammar and spelling could really affect how people thought of you, so I made sure to type properly. I was an experienced typer from when I first got staff on a different server, so it wasn’t too tough. (Although if I look back at my writing from back then, I’d have laughed at myself. My Moderator app was horribly short, much shorter than this.) I made a few friends, and started Skype-teaming with some of them. Back then, I had absolutely no idea that my voice was deep - Relatives that I hadn’t seen for a while kept saying “Oh my goodness, your voice is so deep!” But I didn’t believe them, as I did (and still do) hear myself rather higher-pitched than what I hear in my videos. People kept assuming I was around 16 (One guy said 36. What’s up with that? xD) and I often found that funny - I was still 13! I met @Cowall who lives in a very different time zone, but we Skyped in the early mornings and late nights. He started the ball rolling for me. Through him, I met @CraftyKratonite. Nowadays, I’m just a little side-story in Crafty’s amazing story, but I will never forget him. Eventually, around mid-December, I got to my 22rd win. When Skyping with CraftyKratonite, I heard he was going to apply for a clan - The EliteSquad. I had never heard of a clan before, and was interested. Being an ex-MMORPG player, I browsed the Forums and looked at the EliteSquad thread. It seemed to be a pretty well-ranking clan, and I applied. The win requirement said 30, I applied with 22. I was accepted as a trial-member, and told that if I could make it to 25 wins, I’d be made a full member. The next day, I got another win, and Pm’ed @TorchScar and the other Leaders about a private server that I had, which they could use to train. I guess I came off as a sort-of mature person, and TorchScar made me a full-member - before I hit 25 wins! I was overjoyed, and was let into their Clan Skype Group. One thing I’ll never forget - On my second (Third?) day in the clan (Including being a trial member), I was promoted to Co-Leader. I didn’t even have the minimum amount of wins to join, and @Plg21… wasn’t exactly pleased. On the inside, I was freaking out from happiness, but on the outside I tried to type in my usual style.
Being in The EliteSquad really helped boost both my PvP and self-confidence. Up until then, I was a nobody. No real friends I could talk to, family falling apart, and I literally woke up before 5 AM 1 out of every two days. I don’t regret the sleep-schedule part, though. Without doing that, I never would have met CraftyKratonite, never joined EliteSquad, and never changed my life. I started getting more wins - Being in the clan, I would have teammates that I could talk to often, and friends that I could confide in. Organizing the clan, clan battles, and a bunch of other things kept me busy and content. Ever since, I’ve really enjoyed organizing events and writing long essays based around Minecraft.
On 12/21/12, the world may not have ended - But my family was a huge mess. My sister went off to a church camp on the other side of the country for a week, my dad called the police to see what he could do to force her to come back, calling the church members kidnappers and whatnot - In truth, he had actually agreed to the church camp at first, so my mom signed her up. It was only after the camp, flight, and everything else was scheduled and paid for that my dad changed his mind. My dad left for a trip to his home-country, Bangladesh, the next day around 2 AM, and I’ve never seen him since. He was arrested after flying to Hong Kong for forging bank documents. I won’t go into more detail about that - I’m already way off-topic. Sorry.
My mom, now mainly a single mother, had to run two time-consuming companies that were falling apart, as well as manage three children. We moved to a smaller home, since we didn’t need as much space anymore. As you can imagine, my in-game performance slowly worsened. TorchScar stepped down as Leader of EliteSquad, and I was left as the only “staff” member of EliteSquad. From there, EliteSquad declined. However, there were members, such as @Turnip, @Denster91, @Easy_Soup, @MJM239, @piranga, @overthetophd, @TheRealAussie, and @SilverJakler who kept the clan worthwhile for me. Around this time, I entered a series of depressions, which really sucked.. (A lot of stuff happened.. a LOT. But I won’t go into detail.) Turnip and everyone else got me out of the depression, but eventually everyone else joined other clans, such as Rebels, or applied for Moderator. We still keep in touch, though. I’ve gotten past the depression(s), and I joined Rebels, after much urging from Turnip. I was with them for a few weeks. Being in Rebels was quite an experience - Crafty asked me “Are you prepared for the spam?” I said yeah, but… geez, was I ever wrong. The Rebels are truly a spammy Skype Chat. Being that I only had an iPod 4 with Skype on it as a mobile device, it wasn’t the most lag-free thing. Whenever I tried opening Skype on it, Rebels Chat would crash it for about 30 minutes before I was able to clear all the ‘Unread Messages’. Once, I was dragged along to Macy’s for a few hours. I wasn’t able to open Skype using their free Wifi until my sisters and mom were about to pay for everything… I finally got to meet a lot of people that I had previously considered sort of “Minecraft myths” such as @BlueHeron, @omega_moon, and a ton of others. I realized they were human, just like me (Although perhaps not with such as messed-up past)
I left Rebels, because I simply couldn’t dedicate enough time to them. I enjoyed playing with them, but often there were 1,000+ unread messages that I hadn’t the time to go through, so I just had to clear them all. I felt like I was just taking up space on their Clan Roster, so I left. However, hopefully I can still be on good terms with them.
Things happened out of MCSG, and time passed. I played a lot of detailed pranks, such as pretending to have a crush on a few people, and I got to 350 wins. But my heart wasn’t into it. I was going to head off to a church camp for three weeks (Now I want to go back xD) and I knew that I would have lost a lot of time. Since I got back, I’ve been traveling all over the place, and hardly have time to do much. I’ve been traveling to places I don’t want to go, doing things I want to avoid.
I’ve been trying to get more active on the Forums, since my internet connection when not at home is too bad to play MCSG without super-long periods of lag. After checking my previous posts, I realized that I’ve made 100 posts within a 3-day period. (9/22-9/25, if I have my numbers correct.) I don’t know why or how I did that, but… oh well. I’ve met a few more people, and hope to continue to do so. There was a few months that MCSG didn’t really feel fun anymore, and I just played it to maintain my rank on the Leaderboards. I’ve given up that, for the most part, since I think I’ll be away from home for about 2-3 weeks every month - Meaning I can hardly play a legit round.
Edit: 11/1/13: One of the people I met during church camp in August/September has a YouTube channel, and they wanted to do MCSG videos, along with some of their friends, but they’re all “noobs” when it comes to virtually everything related to MCSG, so they asked me to help out, and now I’m trying to boost their wins and help them get some good recordings. (Don’t worry, I’m not ./kill-ing myself to give them 100% free wins.) I’m also trying to train them in the ways of Minecraft PvPing, and, well, it’s going slowly, but one student is showing a lot of progress so far. (Although I can still beat her, full-diamond armor for both of us, wooden sword for me and diamond for her. xD)
(If you can check out their YouTube channel, that’d be a huge help ;))
I’ve been starting to do Minecraft Art, such as avatars for people. I’m still really bad at them, but hopefully with time I’ll get better. I use Paint, and I also have Photoshop, but I still need to learn how to use that better.
On 11/2/13, I reached 400 wins!

Facts about Mooclan:
~Born on January 23rd
~My favorite color is light-blue (Typical, I know.)
~Some people used to say I have a British accent.
~I used to live in British Columbia, Canada, but now I live in South Florida (Born here, too.)
~I’m Asian. My Minecraft skin was intended to make me look like, well.. me. But I couldn’t find a shade of brown that didn’t look like the contents of a sewer, so I had to make it darker. (Changed my skin a few days ago)
~The name “Mooclan” comes from an inside-joke that a friend and I, Sean, had back in grade 3-4. I used “Mooman” and “Mooclan” and “Mooclan101” and “Mooman101” (shaddupppp) as a username in an MMORPG that I started playing because of him (A few years too late, though) and vowed to him that I’d make cows my favorite animal, in order to remember him. I wanted to use Mooman as my MC username, but that was taken. :c
~As a child, I thought YouTube was only bad stuff. Now, I have a YouTube channel (although rather inactive on it)
~I use a TouchScreen computer. It gets annoying when flies land on it, and I haven’t actually used the touch screen in a few months.
I’m camera-shy, and extremely shy in real life (Can’t talk to people my age. Girls are the only thing that scare me, because they’re one thing that I can’t accurately calculate. Guys are a lot easier to predict.)
I offend, piss-off, or hate 8/10 people that I meet in real life. I have split-personalities.
I like to write a lot, but I know that some people get annoyed at me for doing it.
(I would put more, but it’s 2:18 AM and I wanna finish it so I can go to sleep.)
(If there's anything else you want to know about me, just put it in the comments and I'll try to answer it ;))

People that I want to thank, tag, or otherwise mention:

Denster91, @Easy_Soup, @MJM239, @TheRealAussie, @piranga, @Gamer101luke, SilverJakler and all EliteSquad (ex-)members - You guys, as a whole, worked miracles. You may never know how much I thank you.
Sgt_Panda and blue0woohoo, for making my recent days fun.
C_Rock01 and Tman78354, for being the nubbiest friends I’ve ever had.
I thought my list would be longer, but I guess my mind is blank, since it’s so dang late (Or early? o_O) If I missed you, let me know <3
