If you get banned one time, are you completely screwed as far as getting accepted for mod?

Kinda sad, but I guess it makes sense. However, I heard that if you get 3 or more bans, they look bypass your application entirely. So, what is the point of even having one ban if you are going to get denied?

I think you can dispute it. I got banned once for an hour for caps, I don't think it's bad enough.

It depends on the severity of the offence you were banned for. For example, if you were banned for 1 hour for foul language, you're more likely to still receive Moderator than someone who's been banned for using a hacked client.

If you've had a successful ban dispute, then the ban is considered null and does not affect your chance of becoming a Moderator.

What? That doesn't make since. Same here, but I still applied. They were denied for other reasons, and this doesn't make since. Ask an admin.
