Voting for maps, should this be changed?

Ha I am the first one to say no to this. Though it isn't necessarily a bad idea, I just don't think it will solve the problems you made it to. The old system was exactly the same as this but with a skip instead of a random map choice. As most of you know, the skip never gets voted. With that in mind, what would make a random map option get voted any more than the skip did, because it is essentially the same thing. You don't like the maps, so you vote an option that would get you a different map. Since generally people are too lazy to try to get different maps and just leave or go with the maps that are there, or people do try to skip but not enough others have the same opinion to get get the skip, the skip or random map option has no point and doesn't need to be there. This update is renaming skip and nothing more, so there is no point in toiling to create it.

I like the idea of having 2 or 3 maps and President Snow's choice. That would be really cool! I also think we need to get rid of the skip button, not very many people use it anymore.

Can you make it possible where the random (pres snow choice) is a random map of ALL the maps including old ones that aren't active anymore? That would be even more interesting.

...that's an okay idea, actually.

Anything to encourage people to vote for random more makes me happy. Whether it be a 1% chance of a lobby games happening on a random pick, or just a large list of "last maps played" that can be rolled with random for another early play, I'm all for it. (Lobby games wouldn't track stats, please. >.>)

Also, I'd say that only four choices other than random would be better. I feel 5 is just a bit much, and 3 would be too little.
