Hey guys, I'm putting roughly £1000 into a gaming pc ($1,600 est.).
And I really need the communities opinion on the PC I've chosen, because, £1k is a lot to waste.

Case:
Corsair Carbide 200R Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ front USB 3.0

Taking a look right now, so the number you don't really want to pass is $1000~, and you have up till $1600 for wiggle room?

One thing I can say right off the bat is, you don't need 16GB RAM if you're just gaming, even then, unless you're planning on doing a lot of heavy video editing, photoshop, CAD, 8GB will be more than enough. and even better, you could get really fast 8GB RAM, which is really worth it when it comes to gaming.

I'll post a modified parts list in a sec, for now I'll just assume you want to stick with AMD for the CPU, tell me everything you're planning on using it for so I can get a better idea as to what you need.

Here's what I came up with, I'd say I did an ok job, this price includes the peripherals.
Some things that still needs to be added: Optical Drive and OS
I'd recommend just skipping on the optical drive and making a USB installer, or just steal the Optical Drive from an old computer you may have lying around.
The OS, I'll just add windows 7 for now, though I do recommend getting Windows 8 and installing a start Button, specifically Start Is Back, it's only 5 dollars and brings back the amazingness that Windows 8 was missing.

First of all, thank you so much for your help!
Okay, first of all I have a question, why did you remove the 8 core AMD? I replaced the intel i5 ivy bridge with that because of the heavy rendering my c4d and 3ds has to undergo. Also, is 16gb Corsair Vengeance gaming ram too overkill? Because thats only £70 more than the current ram.
Another thing you have to consider is that I'm English and alot of these parts arent accessible without a gigantic postage fee for me.

But what I'll be using it for:
Gaming (ofc), rendering 3D clips, rendering after effects+sony vegas, recording with Fraps and live streaming with xplit.

Another question, what kinds of demands would I have to meet for the processor?

*edit, you can replace the processor/graphics card with either Intel or GeForce, either is fine.

I removed the 8 core AMD because that line of CPU takes a ton more power to run and need really good heat dissipation in comparison to most other AMD processors. I could go back to it if neither of those are a concern.

There is a point where the amount of ram doesn't matter anymore and how fast the ram is that is important. You originally had 1600MHz ram picked. I found some 2133MHz ram. Which is better for gaming than those 1600 dims you had picked out before.
I'd say, once you hit 8GB ram, start looking at speeds above 1600MHz

Hmm, if you're going with Vegas, I'd say I'd be better to go with an Nvidia GPU, in which case switching to intel would be a good idea, I'll look more into it later.

Hmm... I'm not in Europe so I'm not sure where the best place to buy parts would be, since that would affect what parts are picked. I think I need to be pointed in the right direction as to where to look for parts before I put together another list.
