You're not thinking logically... The person would see and sense the person behind them
How can someone see behind them?
You said that no Android phones have a fingerprint sensor. Well, the Motorola Atrix is an Android phone with a fingerprint scanner, which was released around 2 years before the iPhone 5S.

My point is that fingerprint scanners are not as secure as pins. If someone really wanted to take your phone from you, all they have to do is knock you out and put your finger over the home button, while with a 4-digit pin, there are over 10,000 possible combinations and if the thief messes up enough times, the phone becomes disables for some time. Additionally, the sensor won't work with wet or lotioned hands or with gloves, during the winter. Sure the finger print scanner will make you feel like James Bond for a while :p, but it's not that practical.

Not causing a flame war; just countering false claims.
Yeah because someone will totally knock you out to get into your phone.

Why knock them out.... When all you got to do is just look over the guys shoulder and see his 4 # pin thing.... The finger print is more secure because if someone steals your phone they just need the 4 numbers and that's easy because you can just look over there shoulder to see there code when they type it in. And what are they gonna do when they knock me out? Cut off my finger? xD
Put your finger over the scanner, but the thief may cut off your finger, if he's crazy :p

You can't sense if someone is behind you?

If the thief is set on stealing your phone, then yes.
My friend Tony got his phone stolen from behind once.... If you are on your phone you are not really paying attention to the world. You don't get on your phone and look around every 5 seconds to see if anyone is watching like MCSG xD when your on your phone your playing a game or texting or on Instagram doing something.

iOS 7 is a great operating system. Well, for Apple users. I personally love the new icon pack, and how it copied every new feature from Android. But, it doesn't matter. Apple users can like what they want to, and Android users can like what they want to.
