Unable to finish deathmatch!

I was watching my brother (mobspawner767), and he made it to deathmatch in a game. There was one other guy left, he killed him, BUT the game didn't end. We figured out that there was another "player" in the game (His name was dark grey), but he wasn't actually IN the game. He was a spectator or something.

Unfortunately for my brother, he couldn't finish deathmatch, and couldn't get the guy to leave so he could win, so the game just ended up finishing with no winner.

My brother didn't get the win, even though he won deathmatch.

What happens is people are a spectator, but you can see them and they register as a player which makes they impossable to kill. this bug is very hard to fix because its very hard to find.

Alright, thanks, but my brother said it happened twice today, which is pretty rare.... I've had it happen where I've been the glitched spectator before.

All of these bugs will most likely be fixed in 1.7. This bug in general is rare. I have only heard of it one other time. I don't know what the status is on it being fixed.

This is a bug, most of these will be fixed in 1.7 as said above, I play mcsg regularly and this has never happened to me so it is a rare thing to occur

I have encounterd something like this. I was watching a game when dm started with 4 people. I was a bit confused, but worked out that one guy could only be seen by specs, not anyone in-game, and also that they could not be hit or deal damage. They also didn't count as a person, when him and someone else were left the game ended.

As i said before it is just a bug that will probably be fixed in 1.7

This sounds interesting, Maybe it was a glitch, a glitch that rarely happens. I hope it doesn't continues and yes I do doubt it will happen again.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times, and I dragged in a couple of Mods and Senior Mods... they all said the same thing.

Apparently it is a (very frustrating) glitch. I'm not quite sure the source, but I think it is a Mojang/teleportation bug that is a relative of ghosting... not much that can be done against it, but hopefully it will be fixed in the future.

LIES! The game finishes with the person with the most kills in that game winning the game. Nice try, but don't lie.
