As you can see by the title, I have no words. I feel quite resigned. I just played in a game where I chased one person for a good 4-5 minutes, and we both knew that I had the advantage and much better gear. Yet all of the sudden after I've gotten this guy down to low health countless times without being able to pull of the kill, he turns. The ensuing horrible events happened in the course of a few seconds: he pulls out his fishing rod, hooks me, lights me on fire, and shoots me with a fully notched arrow. At this point my health has tanked, so it took another maybe 2 more hits for him to kill me. A sad day indeed.

oh, i gotcha, that makes me mad too. the fishing rod and other stuff is fine, but when they do a dirty turn-around...

You don't even understand. It's just something that will make my day so sad. This game is about skill, yet I think for me it's moar about luck than skill. If I don't have luck I basically screwed. Why do I think so much about luck? Well, I'm not that good as I used to because players have been leveling up quickly and I' have been lagging a lot. So laggy I can get a lag spike on every game. It only happens on mcsg though.

In the noobs defense, the way he/she managed to kill you with was pretty impressive (considering the low amount of health and the fact that he/she could only use those weapons) but I can't say anything for the chasing part. If it takes that long to chase someone, it better have been worth it.
