I can't tell you, this computer has always had an SSD. However I doubt there'd be any difference.
I am not good with comps at all. How would an SSD help a comp? Lol sorry for being such a noob

An SSD is basically a faster HDD. An SSD produces no heat or noise as well. You store things that you use often on your SSD, especially your Operating System. I can boot up my computer in less than 10 seconds :D

Specs? Also i had a friend in Denver build mine. He is really good with comps. I just gave him like $1400 and boom this is what i got back. He saved me like $400 if i were to build it myself

1400 dollars with a computer with 3970x and 2 680s and 32Gb ram that impossible it would at least cost 2k why are you lying

And minecraft does not support SLI and you would have to have a 7990 to run extreme render distance and that would be at like 150 fps
Liar liar pants on fire XD

So i am wondering. What kind of specs do you guys get usually? I have a super computer and get like 300 frames on extreme. Just wondering what kind of frames MCSG'ers get.
What computer do you have for 300 fps on extreme? o_O

I have an HP g6 Pavilion laptop
Intel i3-2350
Intel graphics 3000
4 gb RAM

Pretty bad for mcsg don't you think?

Mine is custom built, by me :D

The best thing about it is how beast it looks.
Coolermaster HAF SOMENUMBER red edition (window on one side :D)
Intel skull mainboard thingy
Intel i5 2400s
Arctic cooler xtreme or something like that
Modular power supply
128GB ssd
Nvidia GTX-560 Ti AMP (zotac)
Some 500gb harddrive
Windows 7 professional
I also have a couple of random linux distributions installed
And the best part, Sata 3 3TB western digital caviar green so I have space to record them haxxorz.

I am probably upgrading to haswell soon and getting a new mainboard, I'm not happy with my rendering times.
I cant look for all product numbers becAuse I'm sitting in a sushi bar in stockholm :)

Edit: thought i forgot something:
16gb corsair ram
Random red LED light strip
