Community Managers MANAGE the community. Administrators ADMINISTRATE the community.

The Administrators are the staff above Sr. Moderators. Their role is primarily to oversee the Sr. Staff and make sure that the rules of the community are being administered, in addition to often taking on some technical responsibilities (that's usually a voluntary specialization, though).

The Community Managers (currently Bicentennial_Man and Myself) operate directly under Chad, and essentially make sure the community in its entirety is operating smoothly. In addition to managing and coordinating with the Administrators, we also hold a number of higher-level responsibilities, such as dealing with other communities, cooperating with developers, and dealing with large-scale drama issues that may arise; our most recent example is leading the investigations earlier this week. It may sound like just a few incidents light lifting veiled with big words, but trust me: there are many more responsibilities than we often have time to handle, and they are monumentally heavier than people may realize.

In the words of Chad himself, you can think of me as a, "Mini-Chad", but I personally prefer to be called, "StaR".
Or "Colonel", because that makes me feel awesome.

I had hoped to make my official introduction sometime soon once the most current drama had been dealt with, where I would fully and officially explain the Community Manager rank as well. I guess this qualifies as a teaser trailer. Stay tuned!

Explain more? :p
Community Managers are actually being seen on the Forums, meaning either Chad have them a kick or they are thinking for themselves actually making the MCSG Community more efficient and easer for the community.

Nuff Said? :p

I may not post often on the forums, but I monitor them constantly in case something needs to be addressed immediately (such as right now) or something personally piques my interest (such as this). You can usually find me on the, "Staff Online Right Now" panel.

Furthermore, please do not comment on our activity with the implication that, because we do not post on the forums or patrol the servers, that we are not active. From what I've dealt with thus far, we work on higher priorities that steal away most of our time and attention. For example, Bic and I (along with most of the Administration team) have spent the last 24 hours dedicating 6+ hours with the investigations, and I personallyworked for 3+ hours more with other tasks. This last week, I alone have racked up 20+ hours dedicated to working here, and I know that other members have logged even more than I have. Yet we still have IRL lives that we attend to, so we're often up working from the dead of night to the break of dawn, yearning for 3 hours of sleep before heading straight to a full shift at our jobs.

The players may not see, know, acknowledge, or realize what we do for them nor how much we do for them, but we still do it for them. But, as a personal request, could you please not implying that we are inactive, even in a joking manner? Ignorance should not beget disrespect.

Community Managers are actually being seen on the Forums, meaning... they are thinking for themselves actually making the MCSG Community more efficient and easer for the community.....
Even though when we weren't seen on the forums, we have always been making the MCSG more efficient and easier for the community. We primarily operate on TS because it's easier to communicate and coordinate through voice chat than clunky lines of text, but the forums are effective for reference and reaching out to more of the community.

We have a lot of irons in the fire right now, even if we can't reveal them to you all just yet. Unless any major outbursts of drama occurs, we are working to get these ideas out for you guys; some of them are things you wanted, others are things we feel we need. But all change takes time, so please be patient.

In the mean time, I've answered the OP's question and said a little more too. I am locking this thread.
